If you’ve ever dreamt of starting your own business, selling it for a billion dollars and then retiring, I can’t say after reading this you’ll not want to do that, however, this reflective piece from the founder of Loom – who sold his tech startup for $975 million in 2023 – might make you reconsider what that would look like.
As he describes it on his blog, it’s a ‘zeroth world problem’ – he’s not expecting sympathy. But this is a rare insight into what most of us can only imagine life is like for young tech billionaires of today’s age. This is such a fascinating and vulnerable piece that is well worth a read.
